Recovery costs at least 3 arms and a leg, including the initial money
you have to cough up to have your media looked at, but if you really
want it back ...

If it is merely a conversion rather than a recovery and you provide
enough info about the originating system, I'm presuming you could keep
you arms and maybe only lose a leg in the process.
