Have you checked the mail archives. There is quite a bit about building
on FC1 and some of the bugs that have been found (I run Debian Unstable
so some of these probs don't apply to me, that and I don't have time at
the moment to muck around with GARNOME because of assignments).

Looking back on the archives there should be a GARNOME 2.4.2 stable
version (builds from 2.4 rather than 2.5). I probably wouldn't build a
later GARNOME until 2.6 is out (due next week).

GARNOME is designed to be bad-ass bleeding edge so some things are more
'hard coded' in 'hand crafted' config files. Don't know exactly how
Konstruct works but it seems to be more designed with delivering a more
stable version of KDE than GARNOME IMHO.
