Howdy peoople,

I recently upgraded my Linux server from RH 8 to Fedora Core 1, previous
to the upgrade I had no problems mounting and accessing samba shares on
my Windows XP machine, after the upgrade I try to map the drives and
authentication fails.

I've google'd and had a look at Samba FAQ's and the answers probably
staring me in the face but I can't find a cause for the problem.

In case it was something to do with XP not wanting to behave properley
with Samba I made these changes to my registry, but that didn't help.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Netlogon\Parameters]
"requiresignorseal"=dword:00000000
"signsecurechannel"=dword:00000000

No changes have yet been made to my Samba config and no other changes
have been made to the XP machine.

Currently runing samba-3.0.0-15 on 2.4.22-1.2115.nptl

My apologies if I'm forgetting any important information, but any
feedback is appreciated.

Thanks

Kai
