Okay, here is an update on how the install went this weekend.
Using the SUSE Standard Server edition that came with the Novell Eval Kit, I was using the following:
AMD Athlon 1GHZ CPU
EPox 8KTA3+Pro w/KT133A AGPset (KT133A + VT82C686B)
768MB SDRAM
1 x 30GB WD HDD

The inital install of SUSR went find, no problems.
Rebooted server and everything loaded with no problems.
Created the disk with the nfk file (needed for installing Novell NICI)
Mounted the floppy - no problem
Mounted the NLS CDROM
Ran ./install.sh
Answered the questions and away it went, then out of the blue came the following problems:
username = cn=admin.o=nls
tree = nls_tree

Including eDirectory? I'd be interested in hearing how that progresses...
