Well, I suppose people are used to thinking of themselves as the client
rather than the program drawing the resources. No, it's not hard, but I
think we can give people a break when they are confused.
This reply is mostly because today (on another lug list) someone started
off their question with "Dear venerable linux gurus", which gives me the
impression that they are intimidated. I don't think that a list like this
should intimidate new users who would like to ask questions, and I don't
think that you need to drop your standards to do this either.
Sorry about that. I wasn't meaning to have a go at you Russel, it was a
good point. It's just I like this list and think it is friendly. I
wouldn't want anyone to think that Linux users are unapproachable.
