[plug] Can Mandrake 10 run on Laptops?

Yes, 
            Mandrake 10 Official can be installed on Laptops, and yes
from one CD but you will have only basic apps. In that case, install
using the first CD and then add URPMI sources in the Mandrake Software
Control Centre, 
If you meant that you wanna run Mandrake off ONE CD, without installing,
then i suggest installing MandrakeMove. You can boot the MandrakeMove CD
without altering the Hard disk so newbies can try it and/or you can do
office work on the computer at work. So long as the CDROM on the
computer is mountable, you canrun MDKMove, It also supports using USB
Flash Drives, that way you can portably Move Mandrake :)

You can get command lines to run from:  googling "easy URPMI" you willl
find the plf help site there, it shows you how to add "plf" "main"
"contrib" etc
