I'm pretty sure you can choose your preferred format by visit the
following website:
http://mail.plug.linux.org.au/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/plug
When you get there, scroll down to the bottom where it says "To
unsubscribe from plug, get a password reminder, or change your
subscription options...". Enter your address and press the button.
Find "Get MIME or Plain Text Digests" and alter the selection, then
submit.
