I'm running the test-drive now over a hopelessly laggy slow ADSL link and it's quick.

It makes tightvnc look slow!

I'm half thinking there must be some slight-of-hand involved, but I guess it just compresses things 
a lot (there appear to be a fair bit of artifacts on images) and caches a lot. None the less, it 
makes using Gnome over a slow laggy link usable. Best part is all the core technology in the client 
and server is GPL.
