It has been noted that when a mummy pigeon and a daddy pigeon have baby
pigeons, they often produce two eggs: one male and one female. Hence,
boy/girl twins in human families are sometimes referred to as "pigeon
pairs". I noticed that vCard and iCalendar seem to share syntax and
design and I was wondering if it was intentional, to encourage their
side-by-side adoption.
