[plug] tape backup problem

Hi Jon,

Sounds like the drive is not recognising the tape type. Try a different tape in
case the one you've tried is faulty? Try an older (hence shorter) tape? If the
tape is OK in another drive, have you verified that the drive works? Maybe one
of the media sensors is stuffed on it.
