[plug] Mount and NFS mount problems

I have some partitions mounted with uid and gid set to me. They are vfat 
and I need them only accessable by me. But I also need them accesabile 
over NFS. If I have uid and gid set to anything other than root NFS 
can't mount them giving a error like so ` Oct 12 17:48:13 linmedia 
rpc.mountd: getfh failed: Operation not permitted`
Any ideas?
The machine is permitted to mount the share and when the uid and gid are 
root then it works fine.
