[plug] Does this appear to be a memory leak?

I noticed after running my box for a few days (12:02:11 up 4 days,
13:41, 4 users, load average: 0.66, 1.34, 1.93) that my swap usage and
memory usage had risen considerably since boot and was coming quite
unresponsive while switching applications. I knew I had quite a few
firefox windows open and I was running OO.org and FAH so I closed them
all to see if it resolved it. It didn't.
I check in top with it sorted by 'Virtual Image' and also by 'Swapped
size'(as below) showed that gxmms was using LOTS of memory. As all gxmms
does is control xmms I think this is unreasonable. Also
mozilla-Thunderbird (after re-opening) is using a far bit but I believe
that is mainly in the shared librarys kept in memory.
After killing gxmms my memory usage dropped considerably and on
re-loading gxmms all seems to be fine.
Is it possible that there is a memory leek in gxmms? (It was running for
a long time, > 43hrs of CPU time?)
What about mozilla-Thunderbird? I do have 120Mb of emails (that's
includes a PLUG archive dating back to 02) but it gets use over 200m
Virtual Image size when sending emails (See bottom of email for proof.)
Is this right? Does that mean it is loading all the messages into
memory? Should I access local messages by IMAP?
