Hi guys,
I've just got home after doing a major emerge last night, to find that
my hdc and hdd have gone walkies.
I get:
VP_IDE: chipset revision 6
VP_IDE: not 100% native mode: will probe irqs later
VP_IDE: VIA vt8235 (rev 00) IDE UDMA133 controller on pci0000:00:11.1

hdb: PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-106D, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive

hda: max request size: 1024KiB
hda: 488397168 sectors (250059 MB) w/8192KiB Cache, CHS=30401/255/63,

hda: hda1 hda2 hda3 hda4 < hda5 hda6 >
hdb: ATAPI 32X DVD-ROM DVD-R CD-R/RW drive, 2000kB Cache, UDMA(33)
So, I'm not sure if my two drives have simultaneously shat themselves or
what. The fact that the "ide1: Wait for ready failed before probe !"
shows up, probably isn't a good sign.
Any ideas?
Shannon
