Unfortunately not, I get :

db2inst1 at Selous:~> db2fs
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.InternalError: Can't connect to X11
window server using 'selous:1' as the value of the DISPLAY variable.
        at sun.awt.X11GraphicsEnvironment.initDisplay(Native Method)

and then a screenful of Java exceptions - any other ideas - I'm just
plain out of ideas ....  

.. and, yes, it accepts the export (as though it wouldn't)

How the heck do I start another instance of startx - I used to know, but
I've gone absolutely blank?
