[plug] Newcomers Web Site

I am currently working on the "Hardware" section of the website that lives at :

http://members.ozemail.com.au/~arie99/newbie/newbie_hardware.html

I need some input from experienced users in regard to "Known Problem Areas"

The page I am going to write lives at :

http://members.ozemail.com.au/~arie99/newbie/problem_known.html

At the moment it only contains a few headings, and I am undecided as to whether I should keep it as
one page or divide it into a page for each heading - I suppose the amount of content I can gather
will decide that.

I do not have enough experience with Linux to tackle this my self. Any input that makes sense to me
will be appreciated.

What I am after from any willing contributors is as follows :

1 - General outlines only
2 - Examples of various devices that may cause or have been known to cause installation problems
3 - I want to the keep the section as general as possible - without going into too much detail (if
possible)
4 - I want to inform people not bewilder them.

All and any comments will be appreciated but not necessarily responded to, so don't get offended
if I do not respond to your input.

URL's to other sites will also be appreciated, provided they are within the scope of what I am
trying to do.

I have been getting so much email about the site that I have trouble getting enough time to develop
the site.

Please reply off-list (to keep the traffic and noise on the list to a minimum), unless you think
that others may benefit from your advice.

Thanks in advance to anybody who can help with this one.

Regards Arie
