[plug] Exim - All mail to remote host

I've just done 'dpkg-reconfigure Exim4-config' and set it to no local
mail, all mail delivered to smart host.
Unfortunately this doesn't seem to work (e.g. When I send a message to
tim it goes to the localhost machine still.)
Short of purging Exim4 and reinstalling does anybody have any ideas of
how I can achieve this?
