[plug] error messages grab focus

Hi List,

       when some program generates an message -- like
firefox saying it cant load a page -- that message moves me
to the desktop of the offending program (firefox).

This is okay -- but sometimes (when playing lbreakout2)
I get to the offending desktop, but have lost use of the
pointer. This generally means I have to kill X to fix things.

Can I set some variable to have error messages just sit in their
desktop of origin without dragging me there?
