I need to save the output of a command to a file so it can be included/attached
to an email message.

The command is 'exim -d -bt xxxxan at westnet.com.au' which produces approx 
two pages of output.	

Running the above with '< eximcmd' appended generates a file 'eximcmd'  
containing just two lines of text ?

I need to generate files for both valid/invalid westnet addresses so I can
find what is causing mail to my isp from me to be returned with errors while
all other mail is ok.

I checked out the exim archives, the first question usually asked is for the
output of similar commands so if I'm going to take my inquiry there I really 
need these files.

What am I missing, I tried using cat ,tee, etc but I simply don't know
enough :-(
