[plug] rsync or cvs?

I have seen mention of this sort of thing before but could not
remember how to go about it or which of the above I need to use.

I have 4 systems running RedHat Fedora Core 3 that I would like to
bring up-to-date. I would also like to avoid using their uptodate
utility and end up downloading the file four times. Is there a way,
using whichever of the above commands is appropriate, that I can
download the files once and then tell my systems to update from one of
my local systems?

ps. I take it noone knows how to get my Advansys SCSI controller going
under Fedora 3?
