[plug] Exim, Helo, full host name ([Fwd: Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender])

Below you can see the mail delivery messages.
The Mail Delivery System knows that the fake fully-qualified hostname is
mail.white.lan but Exim seems to think that it is linmedia (which is the
box hostname.)
Looking through the Exim4 conf file doesn't reveal a location to set my
fqdn and if need be I do have a real fqdn that I can use for outgoing mail.
Where about can I set this with out changing my hostname?
Ether mail.white.lan or weirdo.homelinux.net
Thanks
Tim
p.s. Thanks Cameron for letting me use your SMTP server to test ;)
