[plug] Pet Hates

Hi all

thought it would be fun to start a thread about technology based pet hates on
a sleepy sunday.

One of mine is when people have laptops almost constantly plugged into mains,
and never remove the battery. The poor thing is being charged for 90% of its
life. Ofcourse the battery dies really quickly, and the typical response is
'oh, but its nickel metal hydroxy lithium doodah magic stuff, it doesnt
develop a memory'.

The number of laptops Ive seen with dead batteries because of this is
astounding. REMOVE YOUR DAMN BATTERY WHEN NOT USING OR CHARGING IT! AND DONT
KEEP TOPPING YOUR BATTERIES UP!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel better :)
