[plug] Ubuntu Installation

I installed Ubuntu the other week on my laptop, manual partition 
configuration worked fine with ext3 and it was dual booting with XP with 
no problems...

That was my first Ubuntu installation and I can't remember the exact 
steps but which one are you lost on ?
