[plug] mythtv errors

when i try to run mythtv, it flashes up with some blue screen for a  
fraction of a second and in the console, it says the following:

	2005-07-04 21:16:20.480 Switching to square mode ()
	2005-07-04 21:16:20.484 Unable to connect to database!
	2005-07-04 21:16:20.487 Driver error was [1/1045]:
	QMYSQL3: Unable to connect
	Database error was:
	Access denied for user: 'mythtv at localhost' (Using password: YES)

	couldn't open db
	2005-07-04 21:16:20.488 Switching to square mode (blue)

does anyone know why it wont work?
