Seriously, 2.4GHz [and 5GHz even more so] punches through the 
ionosphere. It is line of sight.

You _could_ scientifically argue that there would be *some* refraction 
under certain conditions, but  honestly  if I were being paid  to look 
at  ionospheric  propogation of 2.4+GHz WiFi signals, it WOULD be on an 
hourly rate basis!! 8^)===
