[plug] gmail blocking

Anyone help me decipher the error message received when using my gmail
account to post to the Xfce list.  I send direct from evolution - rather
than the web interface - using account settings of "smtp.gmail.com" as
my sending (MX?) agent:

PERM_FAILURE: SMTP Error (state 10): 554 Service unavailable; Client
