Even if noone takes it, please don't landfill it. There are a few places 
around Perth that take old machines to recycle them for scrap. Heck, 
some of them even take old monitors.

This is difficult, however, if you don't live anywhere near any of them, 
and you have but a single case to dispose of. I have occasionally 
wondered how this issue could be dealt with, say when I'm finished with 
some small piece of electronics hardware and want to chuck it.
