[plug] Thunderbird certificates

Hi,

I finally got some certificates created and imported into Thunderbird thanks 
to this site:

http://www.flatmtn.com/computer/Linux-SSLCertifcatesPKCS12.html

Now when trying to use them to sign messages, tbird refuses to use the cert. 
It doesn't trust it. How do I make tbird trust my certificates?
