No. In order to reach the internet Galeon must, in this case, go through
a proxy (squid). However, if the server is on a local network then no
proxy should be used. Direct Connection means that proxying is not used at
all. There used to be a "no proxy for" spec that could be used to tell
Galeon which networks should not require a proxy.
