Beat me to it! I was going to say that the best & cheapest way out is
dual head because that's what CAD specialists use. In that work you
would typically have an overview of the drawing in one screen and detail
that you are working on in another. No reason why DP work wouldn't
benefit with a page in each screen in the same fashion. My $0.05.
BTW: I use the Matrox Millenium G550 that supersedes the 450 series
Simon wrote about and it has 32Mb onboard compared to 16Mb with the 450
(I think). That sort of memory is laughable these days, but still good
enough - and I think I remember seeing the 550 still offered new at
computer suppliers in Perth.
