Hi all, Redhat has /etc/rc.d/rc.local, debian used to have /etc/rc.boot but it seems to be deprecated, but what is the 'preferred' way of running ad-hoc startup scripts in debian? Is running your own scripts in rc.n/ frowned at? Does it cause upgrading problems? anything else? Thanks, Tim Bowden
