I see the main hindrance being software installation, and my mates (who get 
me to install eveyrthing for them) agree with me. I see autopacakge as the 
future, or st least a proper and blatantly obvious way forward. Debian's 
religious leaders are kidding thmeselves, the PC world doesn't work from 
software repostiories, but from the ability to easily install 3rd party 
apps, like in the Mac and windoze world.
