You might be interested in
http://www.munjoylinux.org/
which has a few open source fonts added specifically for web pages(?)
but also according what I have read  make OpenOffice.org manage better
with MSOffice documents. This may well be true, I grabbed the fonts
and tried them in OpenOffice.org-pre2 and it semed to be an improvement.
(The distro itself seems moribund.)
