I recently selected a PowerWare 2000VA UPS with a network expansion card
for work, and I've been very happy with it. It'll happily just sent an
SNMP trap to the system to initiate a graceful shutdown, and it works
easily with multiple machines. As a handy side-effect, with the network
card it provides a built-in switch for a private "system management"
network.

2000VA would be *WAY* overkill for your needs, but I thought I'd point
out that PowerWare's double-conversion UPSs seem to be very solid
beasts. I'm not sure how far down the range they go, or what their lower
end stuff is like, though.
