Chris,

I did a quick google on MINITAB and Linux, but so far I've only seen
recomendations for STATA (expensive) and SAS (extremely expensive).

I remember years ago (1992-93) running MINITAB on VAX VMS, but can't recall
using it on any *nix varities.
