It appears that they're applying trademark law. And as far as finding
a mention of Linux on the internet that does demonstrate trademark
use, good luck.
I guess this is why Jeremy wanted companies to reply to his letters
saying they acknowledge that they would pay a fee to use the name
"Linux". _That_ demonstrates trademark use.
