I have a 1GB iPod Shuffle and one of these devices style that I picked
up for $50. It doesn't have the media player, just the transmitter, but
the iPod Shuffle It's a well-known computer brand so I thought it would
work "ok" (I forget the brand now). I was wrong, the sound is poor and
the transmission is filled with snow (on all four channels).

I've driven a Mk II. Supra without an FM antenna for the last year and
thought that was the problem. Last Friday I picked up a 350Z with an FM
antenna (and a stack of other goodies :) and nothing has changed. It
*might* be this transmitter, but I hear equally bad things from the
iTrip (FM transmitter designed for use with an iPod) and iTrip-knock-off
owners.

Right now, I'm wondering if the head unit has an input that I could feed
a 3.5mm jack into.
