gentoo: but the problems are not gentoo specific.  It does work if your
requirements are very simple - for instance I have lots of contact lists
- these .  A net search will soon turn up reams of disaster reports.  My
personnel experience is its not worth the agro.  I do use sync to backup
(jpilot), but have made damn sure all pipes to evolution and gnome are
disabled.are invariably corrupted (often gettin 5 or more copies of a
contact)

Blutooth works fine for email (versamail is crap talking to an imap
server though), but the blazer browser is more usable.  Bluetooth sync
has different issues depending on versions. I have a 'long range'
bluetooth dongle - works about 10m or so Fantastic phone - very good
sensitivity and functions.  Scheduling and task apps are also excellent
(as long as you keep evo away from it)
