Denis,
The 'file' command will tell you if a library is 32 or 64 bit.

64 bit apps/libs will not work with 32bit libs at all.
That includes browser plugins and video codecs.

Your ARCserve should come with two complete sets of libraries, probably
with the same names, but in different directories.
 You should make sure the correct directory is in /etc/ld.so.conf .
