Yeah. If I do a lsmod, tun is in there, and tun.ko is there, but its
still not working.
It's a bit frusturating.

The kernel should be built with it ("tun.ko" - I think most dotro
kernels have almost everything turned on and built as a module by
default.)
/lib/modules/2.6.18-rc3/kernel/drivers/net/tun.ko
Just try 'modprobe -kv tun'
