So has anyone used K9copy?  I just gave it a go with fabulous results. 
I ripped a 9gig copy protected DVD (Black Books) and compressed it onto 
a 4.7gig DVD-r and all works like new.  No readilly discernable 
degradation in quality on my TV.  :-)
