Though I'll temper this with my own experiences..
I've always found KDE to be less stable than gnome, under ANY distro I've tried.
that's not to say I don't like KDE or Kubuntu, I love KDE.. It's
_much_ easier on the eye's and they have better environmental
features.
But all in all I want reliability and for me that means Gnome.
