Unrelated to the main issue but still an indicator of service quality.

I'd also asked that the phone line not be cut-off until Friday 19 May. I
followed this up with an email and ask them to confirm the fact. IE do
not cut-off the phone until 19 May.

Guess what? Phone cut-off a week early. My wife and I have mobile phones
but my children do not. 

Telstra manage to do it. Not that I'm a Telstra fan.
