[plug] burning Mac-OS CD from Linux, dual boot

Folks,
how should I burn a MAC-OS boot CD on Linux? The files are named *.iso
but are not really ISOs. 'file' tells me it is:
  Apple Partition data block size: 2048, first type: Apple_partition_map,
  name: Apple, number of blocks: 63, second ...

k3b and nautilus refuse to burn it. growisofs doesn't do CDs.

And google is giving me lots of links on how to burn Linux CDs from
MacOS.
