You need to edit the following file in your firefox profile (from memory):
~/.mozilla-firefox/********.default/searchplugins/google.src
Where ******** is eight random letters/numbers. Change any occurrances
of www.google.co.uk to google.com.au (to get the option for pages from
australia). Save and restart firefox.
If you're on Windows, the searchplugins directory is located at
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins.
