[plug] Anybody used linux on a sony vaio VGN-TX27GP/B

I had one on the old one: didnt need it, wasted 15G of disk space I have
a better use for (I have a - licenced! - copy of Win2K in a qemu VM that
suffices for demos when I need to show doze stuff).  There is damn
little these days that cant be done on linux tho!

Also, IT Serv. got to it first and the admin password looks like its
been changed, so rather than ask for it to be unlocked, I'll apply the
blotto fix.
