Well done indeed! Yes, there have been cases of expats bringing their collections with them (not a
lot else to do here) and having them stopped at customs on the way in with part of the cargo
confiscated for inspection for an indeterminate period. Occasionally not all of it has been
returned. I thought "bugger that" and left the originals at home (I also ship them home in batches
as I buy them for safe keeping).
It's a fun toy to play with for torturing filesystems, the PCI bus and other various components.
In answer to Adrian, yes we run a mix of UK and European sockets here. Most are UK on the wall but
about 70% of the gear sold is European. I have a mix of powerboards with different plugs on them to
get me out of tight spots. (Some units also have South African round pin sockets for various appliances)
