I agree with Chris, it is not worth the trouble these days. If you can keep
the ambient temp of your environment round 18 Celsius they will run for
years and attain the manufacturers MTBF figures. (Mean Time Between
Failures) IFIRC at plus two degrees you have lost about 20-25% of the
expected life of the device, and every degree above that, well let just say
your device life just got cancer.

Ever wandered why machine rooms are so cold! . . . .  To get the best
performance out of the equipment, and it is not restricted to computers
either, anything electronic.
