[plug] mailing list gliches

I have been noticing emails not coming through to the list until many
hours after being sent, eg., I sent a reply late last night that didn't
show up by this morning so i sent it again, but now my original post
came through sometime tonight!  I am getting other people's postings
also showing up long after the original send time :-(

The other problem with the mailing list is that postings to the
off-topic list seem to be filtering through to the main list for some
reason.  Witness all the OT postings about daylight saving, etc. It's
gotta stop ;-)
