proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/hda2 / ext3 defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1
/dev/hda4 /media/documents vfat defaults,utf8,umask=007,gid=46
0 1
/dev/hda1 /media/windows ntfs defaults,nls=utf8,umask=007,gid=46
0 1
/dev/hda5 none swap sw 0 0

Hi Josh

It could be a problem with the way Ubuntu is mounting the fat32 partition.

Could you paste the entry for the fat32 partition from your /etc/fstab
so we can see how it is being mounted?

Cheers
