Well, the Bibbulmun has markers every 100m or so ... that didn't stop a
friend and I getting lost when we did the Kalamunda-Mundaring section of
it a couple of years ago though! :-)  The sections that I've done down
south seemed easier to follow - fewer other intersecting tracks.

If you are going to do more than just day walks, there's also battery
life of your GPS to worry about.
